I love Easter baskets. So of course I wanted Tommy to have a really cool one for his first Easter and one that would last him forever:) but I think "overkill" would be the perfect word for the one I ordered. It didn't look LARGE in the picture, but I learned never to buy anything "large" again (especially since I can't return the liner or the basket b/c it would cost almost as much to ship it back as it was to purchase it).
Tommy doesn't seem to mind...he likes it better than his bumbo.

Just kickin it...looking pretty cool

Small basket, LARGE basket

I guess we'll take the liner out and call it his new play yard.

While I was trying to do this post, I was acting out a scene from "Super Nanny" going in and out of Tommy's room laying him back down in his crib for his nap b/c he has been climbing up in it to a standing position and gnawing on the top rail, squealing with delight. This past week we moved his play yard into his room and he slept in that b/c he was hitting his head too many times discovering his new trick-couldn't take it! I decided today was the day we would get him back into his crib. I only had to go in/out for an hour. Not bad! He's pulling himself up on everything and has gained a lot of strength and is a lot more steady now, so hopefully he won't flail in the crib anymore. Why did they put wood slats in cribs anyways?? I'm all for mesh walls in cribs now...
